“Anybody can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the prairie”

-Willa Cather

Growing up in Southern Alberta unknowingly marked my path at a young age. The long summer days, endless horizons and saturation of the western life style made an imprint on me.

Years later I discovered a passion. Picking up a camera and documenting a lifestyle that is rich in history tugs at my heart strings.

Determined to share this way of life I have traveled into the USA, Australia and around Canada. My images have been pulished in magazines like Cowboys and Indians, Canadian Cowboy Country and AQHA Magazine. Breathing life into what seems to be a forgotten lifestyle and art form.

I crave the rawness of the land and the people who call it home. Those who have persevered while the world around us modernizes.

A lover of black and white photos, sunrises, foggy mornings, dusty corrals, untamed land, old souls, spontaneous adventures, and most of all, taking images that tell a story.

I truly believe in doing what sets your soul on fire . May we all find what our heart wants and our soul craves.
